Graduate Training        

We address the training needs of IT and non-IT graduates as part of the general induction process into leading organisations.

For IT Graduates our training focusses on the realities of IT in businesses. A pragmatic approach to making progress yet maintaining quality and a focus on ROI is essential to turn IT graduates into productive members of staff.

Our programme includes practical overview and in-depth training in essential skills, including communication, design (OO / UML / DTD / ER), database technologies, Java, Requirements Management, Testing, End-user management, Agile and /or conventiaonal methodologies and all the skills required to complement the academic trainign already received. Methods for dealing with outsourced development groups and the issues with developing and maintaining such software are addressed.

 

For non-IT graduates going into an IT-oriented business we provide overviews of technology, management approaches to IT projects, dealing with development groups and end-users. In many ways this material complements the material presented to the IT graduates and leads to a more co-operative and productive environment.
