This course provides an overview of XML and related technologies, with an emphasis on the business opportunities of XML implementations. A section focuses on the business benefits of XBRL (the financial dialect of XML), and BizTalk, MS SQL Server and database interfacing with XML are also discussed in a business context. There are extensive demonstrations using XML development tools, Java and MS Office applications. Attendees will receive extensive classroom materials and a CD of reference material.
